As the month – long Muslim fasting begins today, the Executive Chairman, Ijede Local Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo – Alogba, has extended her felicitations to Muslim residents in ijede and across the world.
In a statement commemorating the Ramadan, Hon. Gbadebo-Alogba described the Holy month as a period for soul searching, reflection and when self -discipline is expected.
”I rejoice with my Muslim brothers and sisters in Ijede LCDA and across the world as we begin the holy month of Ramadan.

”We are profoundly grateful to Almighty Allah (SWT) for the grace to witness this sacred season. Ramadan is a journey of the soul; a time for deep reflection, spiritual rejuvenation, and self-discipline. Just as taught by the Holy Prophet (SAW), let us embrace this period to strengthen our bonds of piety, humility, and selfless care for one another.”
She charged the Muslim faithful to engage in serious prayers for peace, stability and progress in Ijede and the country at large.
”In these defining times, I urge us all to use this month to offer fervent prayers for the peace, stability, and prosperity of our beloved Ijede LCDA and our great nation, Nigeria.

”Let us especially remember the vulnerable and less fortunate among us, extending the hands of compassion that define our faith.
”May Almighty Allah (SWT) accept our fasting and prayers as acts of worship. I pray that this blessed season brings unity, resilience, and renewed hope to every household.”
